Leo Bridle | Train of Thought
Train of Thought from Leo Bridle on Vimeo.
Train of Thought was made as our graduation film from The Arts Institute at Bournemouth. Although Leo Bridle & Ben Thomas used digital compositing software, all the animation and models were done by hand, not with CGI. The film took approximately 9 months to complete, from storyboards through to the final edit.

Cinimod Studio | DJ Light (DJ Luz)
DJ Light (DJ Luz), Lima 2010 from Cinimod Studio on Vimeo.
DJ Light is an immersive public sound and light installation that gives visitors the power to orchestrate an awe-inspiring performance of light and sound across a large public space. It was created for energy company Endesa by the Cinimod Studio London as the cornerstone of their Christmas celebrations in Lima, Peru.
The installation consists of 85 giant globes of light, each capable of displaying millions of colours. As the "guest DJ" assumes their position on the podium, they can use their arms to point and gesture. These movements are translated in real-time into beautiful movements of light and generative sound across the space.

Race After 1977 is a high-paced racing experience for iOS platform devices. Set in a post-apocalyptic world of scorching wastelands and nuclear winter, Race After 1977 will provide hours of fun as you race against your opponents, sliding through sand and ice, slamming opponents out of the way, and jumping onto walls to seize the advantage.
Driven by a custom built full-physics 3D engine and adorned by high-end graphics, Race After 1977 delivers a gaming console experience to the world of mobile device racing games.
Race After 1977 is a leap from the industry standard flat-surfaced and walled-in routine that has plagued the mobile racing games for so long.
The full physics experience of the custom engine will let your car slide on gravel, drive on dam walls, leap over opponents, slam them into walls, jump across ruined bridges, swerve on uneven grounds and skid into oblivion… All that while trying to compete against an AI that adapts to your skills and will not hesitate to run you off the road.

Quest Visual | Word Lens app
Word Lens can instantly translates printed words from one language to another using the video camera on your iPhone. No network delay, no roaming fees, and no reception problems.
Word Lens is a dictionary -- evolved. It looks up words for you, and shows them in context. You can use Word Lens on your vacations to translate restaurant menus, street signs, and other things that have clearly printed words.
Word Lens has its limits. Sometimes the translation will have mistakes, and may be hard to understand, but it usually gets the point across. If a translation fails, there is a way to manually look up words by typing them in. Word Lens does not read very stylized fonts, handwriting, or cursive. Try it, and tell us what you think!

With over 50 deliverables, this campaign was featured across a broad range of media and had some of Madrid’s hottest spots displaying our work throughout October and November.
This is a montage of the various pieces developed for the broadcast campaign.
