Samsung SD | The Proof

The balloon, filled with helium gas and carrying a load of paper planes, took 2.6 hours to rise to 37,339 metres (that’s at the edge of space!), where it burst and took only 40 minutes to fall back to earth. It landed in a forest just south east of Berlin, where our team had to use a very long pole to retrieve the payload from the top of a tree.

The hand-crafted paper planes with their precious cargo of Samsung SD memory cards were released at around 36,3500 metres and could land anywhere!

If anyone finds a plane and memory card, they can contact us at www.projectspaceplanes.com/ask and we will try to put them in touch with the person who uploaded their piece of data onto that memory card.

The relationship between BNS and FUEL TV began in 2003 before the network's launch, when BNS founder, executive creative director and director Jonathan Notaro and his colleagues collaborated with FUEL TV to design and produce the network's original broadcast identity package. Also tasked with delivering a set of network IDs, BNS suggested that the network introduce a "Free Form Film Festival," where every ID is unique instead of following channel-wide guidelines. This anti-brand approach BNS proposed involved using 10 IDs with tones ranging from comedic to contemplative to musical, and with techniques ranging from film to stop-motion to CG. BNS produced the very first FUEL TV IDs, and since then, the network has commissioned dozens of iterations in tandem with other design studios and artists, and FUEL TV's world-acclaimed IDs have earned countless awards.

.hiv

We are a small group of people who have been engaged with the .hiv-initiative for quite some time. As employees of an advertising agency we have dealt with the issue of HIV/AIDS before, for instance, during several projects for the Michael Stich Foundation.

Our goal is to establish a new top-level domain (such as .com, .de or .org): .hiv

Every website in the world could soon have the domain name ending .hiv -- and whilst the content of the site remains the same, you'll be doing something good by using the .hiv-version of the website. Because every time someone visits the site, the owner donates a small amount of money to an international charity, which passes the money on to all those who are trying to beat the virus all over the world.

Anamorphic Architecture_2 from zizizic on Vimeo.

David Hall developed low polygon forms from basic primitives and through a series of deformations and replications produced a structure with minimal data. These structures where then developed (made planar) in order for them to be printed two dimensionally.

This enabled the surface to be re-constructed back to its original 3D form. As the object exists in 3D in both digital and analogue form this allows us to project animations and graphic back onto the object from the digital version with relative accuracy. In effect the form exists in digital and analogue spaces simultaneously.

The analogue and digital spaces are converging into what has become known as Augmented Space or Augmented Reality. This convergence will accelerate in the near future as LED architectural surface technology and motor actuators become cheaper.
