'I dedicate this film to Berlin where I have been living for 19 years now. While the architecture of Berlin is stunningly beautiful, only its inhabitants make Berlin the unique city that it is. In every corner there is something new to discover. And the best thing to do is to film it', says Philpop.
It was filmed with Sony HC9. Edited with Sony Vegas Pro 9. The miniature effect is called tilt-shift, which originates from a particular lens that was used to photograph architecture. The miniature effect is a by-product of that. It can also be achieved by digital postprocessing.

Fitted with a brain of wires, circuits and whole lot of code, he'll use his new silicon senses to share what it feels like to have a sweaty chain while riding up the side of the Rockies. "Straddling" bus - a cheaper, greener and faster alternative to commute
A big concern on top of urban transportation planner's mind is how to speed up the traffic: putting more buses on the road will jam the roads even worse and deteriorate the air; building more subway is costly and time consuming. Well, here is an cheaper, greener and fast alternative to lighten their mind up a bit: the straddling bus, first exhibited on the 13th Beijing International High-tech Expo in May this year. In the near future, the model is to be put into pilot use in Beijing's Mentougou District (bjnews).

The world first panoramic 360 degree music video. A trip into a track of music by Cut Chemist. Due to Warner Music legal crap this is only the visual experience, but I included a live video recording as well so you can hear what's all the fuss.
The Brooklyn-based artist David Kassan, was filmed from the artist’s studio resulting in 7 minute clip that documents Kassan’s painting in real time and exposes the intricacies of his “finger painting” process. It's like animation of thoughts that unfolds before your eyes in a such engaging way.

The Creators Project is a new network dedicated to the celebration of creativity and culture across media, and around the world. At a time in the history of the arts where digital technologies have revolutionized distribution, democratized access, and completely re-imagined the scope and scale with which an artist can create a vision and reach an audience, The Creators Project is a completely new kind of arts and culture channel for a completely new kind of world.
The Creators Project has two mandates: on one hand it’s a modern day media channel that we will continually identify and celebrate the work of visionary artists wherever they are. On the other hand it is also a content creation studio, an arts foundation of sorts that will facilitate the production and dissemination of new work with these artists and their collaborators.
The Curfew is an adventure web-game created by Littleloud, published by Channel 4 and written by acclaimed comic book author, Kieron Gillen.
Set in 2027 in the heart of an authoritarian security state, The Curfew could be described as a miniature Canterbury Tales set in a not-so-distant future, where citizens must abide by government security measures and 'sub citizens' are placed under curfew at night.
The player must navigate this complex political world and engage with the characters they meet along the way to work out who they should trust in order to gain freedom.
Choose wisely and you could change the course of history. Choose poorly, and it'll be changed for you.
The Curfew: Worth Staying In For.
"The British roots of this young artist are clearly heard as you go through his two albums (Take My Time and The Words) and sometimes you can hear his different influences such as “the streets”, “The Police” or even “Marley”. Being a drummer as a musician and very much influenced by reggae roots, FLOX has managed to blend reggae, rock and electro in a very personal way."

In the latest episode of FearLessQA, Alex Bogusky sits down for a conversation with designer Bill Bogusky (his father). The video is very interesting and discusses crowdsourcing, now outdated processes, logo design, and the relationship between a son and his dad.
Are you a graphic designer? Do you know the difference between a font and a typeface? Do your eyes light up when conversations turn to ems, kerning, and baseline grids? If you answered yes to these questions, then The Typography Manual for the iPhone and iPod Touch is for you!
The Typography Manual has several useful features and resources for designers, including a visual type anatomy glossary, a font size ruler, an em calculator, and enough content to fill a 60-page book. It has all the essentials of a desk reference in a pocket resource.
The C.R.A.B (Cybernetic Autonomous Remote Barricade) Droid, is a revolutionary robotic sentry system designed by Jamie Martin. It's cool idea but I don't think we need one on the streets, maybe to send them as explorers on Mars.
